Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Begin by boiling water in a kettle until it reaches a rolling boil. Place 2 tablespoons of dried butterfly pea flowers in a heatproof container and pour 1 cup of the hot water over them. Allow them to steep for 5-7 minutes, then strain the tea and let it cool.
  2. While the tea is still warm, add 1-2 teaspoons of honey or your preferred sweetener and stir until dissolved.
  3. Select your choice of milk and froth approximately 1 cup until light and foamy.
  4. Fill a tall glass with ice cubes and pour the cooled butterfly pea flower tea over the ice.
  5. Spoon the frothed milk slowly on top of the tea to create a layered effect.
  6. Optional: Stir in 1 teaspoon of lemon juice to transform the color from blue to purple.
