Step-by-Step Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare a loaf pan by lightly greasing it or lining with parchment paper.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine ground beef, finely chopped onion, eggs, milk, breadcrumbs, minced garlic, ketchup, parsley, Worcestershire sauce, salt, black pepper, and Italian seasoning. Mix until just combined.
- Transfer the mixture to the prepared loaf pan and shape it into a loaf that stands about 2-3 inches high.
- In a small bowl, whisk together the ketchup, brown sugar, white vinegar, garlic powder, and onion powder for the glaze. Brush half over the meatloaf.
- Bake in the preheated oven for about 45 minutes. Remove and brush on remaining glaze, then return to the oven for an additional 15-30 minutes until internal temperature reaches 160°F (71°C).
- Let the meatloaf rest for 10-15 minutes before slicing to allow juices to redistribute.

Notes
Avoid overmixing to keep the meatloaf tender. Use parchment paper for easy removal.
