Method

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare a loaf pan by lightly greasing it or lining with parchment paper.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine ground beef, finely chopped onion, eggs, milk, breadcrumbs, minced garlic, ketchup, parsley, Worcestershire sauce, salt, black pepper, and Italian seasoning. Mix until just combined.
  3. Transfer the mixture to the prepared loaf pan and shape it into a loaf that stands about 2-3 inches high.
  4. In a small bowl, whisk together the ketchup, brown sugar, white vinegar, garlic powder, and onion powder for the glaze. Brush half over the meatloaf.
  5. Bake in the preheated oven for about 45 minutes. Remove and brush on remaining glaze, then return to the oven for an additional 15-30 minutes until internal temperature reaches 160°F (71°C).
  6. Let the meatloaf rest for 10-15 minutes before slicing to allow juices to redistribute.
