Method
 

Preparation Steps
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Brush the wells of your mini muffin tins with toasted sesame oil and press wonton wrappers into each well.
  3. Bake the wonton cups for 10-12 minutes until golden brown.
  4. Score the skin of the duck breasts in a diamond pattern and season with Chinese five spice powder and kosher salt.
  5. Sear the duck breasts skin-side down in a non-stick sauté pan for 10-12 minutes.
  6. Flip and cook for an additional 4-5 minutes before allowing to rest for 5-10 minutes.
  7. Assemble by placing duck slices in wonton cups, drizzle with hoisin sauce, and top with scallions.
