Ingredients
  

For the Shrimp
  • 16-20 shrimp Large shrimp Use larger shrimp for optimal stuffing.
For the Filling
  • 1 cup Lump or claw crab meat Vegetarian option available.
  • 1 cup Cooked spinach Thawed frozen spinach works well.
  • 1/2 cup Chopped artichokes Can be swapped for mushrooms or omitted.
  • 1/2 cup Mayonnaise Can substitute with sour cream or cream cheese.
  • 1 tbsp Dijon mustard Yellow mustard is an acceptable substitute.
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce Can be omitted.
  • 1 cup Italian breadcrumbs Panko can be used for extra crunch.
  • 1/2 cup Cheese (mozzarella & pepperjack) Use any melting cheese.
  • 2 cloves Minced garlic Fresh garlic recommended.
  • 1 tbsp Dried herbs Thyme, parsley, or a combination works.
  • 1 tbsp Fresh lemon juice & zest Bottled lemon juice can be substituted.
For Seasoning the Shrimp
  • 1 tsp Smoked paprika Regular paprika is a milder alternative.
  • 2 tbsp Olive oil Melted butter can be used as a substitute.
  • 1 tbsp Old Bay seasoning Use a seafood seasoning blend if needed.
  • 1 tsp Garlic powder Fresh garlic is a great option.
  • 1 tsp Onion powder Fresh onion is also an option.
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning Dried oregano or basil can substitute.
  • 1 tsp Freshly cracked black pepper Adjust to taste.
For Serving
  • 2 tbsp Unsalted butter Olive oil is a lighter substitute.
  • 2 tbsp Fresh dill Parsley can be used or omitted.

Method
 

Preparation Steps
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare a baking sheet.
  2. Devein and butterfly shrimp, then season with olive oil and spices.
  3. Mix filling ingredients together in a bowl.
  4. Stuff shrimp with filling and place on the baking sheet.
  5. Bake for 20-25 minutes, until shrimp are opaque.
  6. While shrimp bake, make garlic dill sauce in a saucepan.
  7. Serve warm with garlic dill sauce and garnish.
