Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Season the short ribs with salt and pepper, sear in a skillet over medium-high heat for 3-4 minutes on each side, then transfer to a slow cooker with broth and cook on low for 6-8 hours until tender.
  2. In a saucepan, melt 2 tablespoons of butter, sauté onions and garlic for 3-4 minutes, then add heavy cream and gouda cheese, stirring until melted and smooth. Season with salt and pepper.
  3. Preheat oven to 475°F. Roll out the pizza dough to 12 inches, place on a baking sheet, spread smoked gouda cream sauce on top, and layer with shredded short ribs.
  4. Bake for 12-15 minutes until golden and crispy. Let cool for a couple of minutes before slicing.
  5. Slice the pizza, garnish with fresh herbs, and serve immediately.
