Step-by-Step Instructions for Sticky Beef Noodles
- Cook your egg noodles or rice noodles according to the package directions in a large pot of boiling water for about 4–6 minutes. Drain and set aside.
- In a mixing bowl, combine soy sauce, brown sugar, hoisin sauce, and cornstarch. Add thinly sliced beef sirloin and marinate for about 10 minutes.
- Heat 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat for about 2 minutes until shimmering.
- Add the marinated beef in a single layer and sear for 3–4 minutes without stirring. Turn and cook for another 2 minutes until browned. Remove from skillet.
- In the same skillet, add minced garlic and ginger, stirring for 1–2 minutes until fragrant and golden.
- Pour in beef broth and deglaze the pan. Reintroduce the beef and simmer for 2–3 minutes.
- Carefully add the cooked noodles and toss with beef and sauce. Heat for an additional 1–2 minutes.
- Remove from heat, garnish with sliced green onions and sesame seeds, and serve immediately.

Notes
Allowing the beef to marinate enhances the flavors. Fry the beef in a single layer to ensure good browning.
