Ingredients
  

Shrimp
  • 16 large deveined and butterflied shrimp
Seasoning
  • 1 tbsp smoked paprika or regular paprika as a substitute
  • 2 tbsp olive oil for seasoning shrimp
  • 1 tbsp Old Bay seasoning or your favorite seafood seasoning
  • 1 tsp garlic powder or fresh garlic as a substitute
  • 1 tsp onion powder for sweetness
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning or fresh herbs
  • 1 pinch pepper to taste
Filling
  • 1 cup crab meat claw or lump
  • 1 cup cooked spinach well-strained
  • 1/2 cup artichokes
  • 1/2 cup mayo or sour cream/cream cheese
  • 1 tbsp Dijon mustard
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 cup Italian breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup cheese Mozzarella or Pepperjack
  • 2 cloves minced garlic
  • 1 tbsp dried herbs
  • 1 tbsp fresh lemon juice
  • 1 tbsp lemon zest
Garlic Butter Dill Sauce
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter or olive oil as a lighter alternative
  • 2 cloves minced garlic or roasted garlic
  • 2 tbsp fresh dill or dried dill

Method
 

Preparation Steps
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Pat the shrimp dry with paper towels and lay them on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  2. Combine olive oil, smoked paprika, Old Bay seasoning, garlic powder, onion powder, Italian seasoning, and pepper in a small bowl. Drizzle over the shrimp and let marinate for 10 minutes.
  3. Mix crab meat, cooked spinach, artichokes, mayo, Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, breadcrumbs, cheese, minced garlic, dried herbs, lemon juice, and zest in a medium bowl until well combined.
  4. Spoon the crab mixture into the shrimp, ensuring the edges are clear. Arrange in a greased baking dish.
  5. Bake for 20-25 minutes until shrimp are opaque and filling is bubbly and golden.
  6. Melt butter in a saucepan over low heat, add minced garlic and dill, and stir until fragrant.
  7. Serve the stuffed shrimp drizzled with the garlic butter dill sauce, alongside fresh salad or lemon wedges.
