Step-by-Step Instructions for Garlic Butter Lobster Tails
  1. Preheat your oven to 500°F (200°C) and prepare your baking sheet by lining it with aluminum foil.
  2. Using kitchen shears, cut through the top shell of each lobster tail, gently pull the meat out, and lay it on top of the shell.
  3. In a small bowl, combine melted unsalted butter, minced garlic, salt, black pepper, and dried pepper flakes. Add parsley and lemon juice, and mix well.
  4. Baste each lobster tail generously with the garlic butter sauce, reserving some for drizzling later.
  5. Broil the lobster tails for 6-8 minutes until the meat is opaque and firm, reaching an internal temperature of 140°F-145°F.
  6. Remove from the oven, drizzle with remaining garlic butter sauce, and garnish with parsley or lemon slices before serving.
