  • 1 pound Flank Steak or Sirloin Thinly sliced
For the Sauce
  • 1/2 cup Hoisin Sauce Sweet and savory flavor
For the Noodles
  • 8 ounces Rice Noodles Gluten-free option
  • 8 ounces Udon or Egg Noodles Alternative noodles if gluten is not a concern
For the Vegetables
  • 1 cup Bell Peppers Chopped
  • 1 cup Snap Peas Chopped
For Garnishing
  • 2 tablespoons Green Onions Sliced
  • 1 tablespoon Sesame Seeds
Optional Topping
  • 1 per serving Egg Fried sunny-side up

Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Thinly slice the flank steak or sirloin against the grain. Season with salt and pepper. Set aside.
  2. Bring a large pot of water to boil. Add rice noodles and cook according to package instructions (4-6 minutes). Drain and rinse under cold water.
  3. Heat 1 tablespoon of oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Stir-fry the seasoned beef for about 3-4 minutes until browned. Remove from pan.
  4. In the same pan, add another tablespoon of oil and stir-fry the bell peppers and snap peas for 3-4 minutes until tender.
  5. Return cooked beef to the skillet. Add drained noodles and hoisin sauce. Stir and cook for another 2-3 minutes.
  6. Serve Hoisin Beef Noodles in bowls. Top with a fried egg and garnish with green onions and sesame seeds.
