  • 8 ounces Pasta Use any shape like rotini or penne.
For the Salad
  • 4 ounces Deli Meats (salami, ham) Turkey is a great substitute.
  • 8 ounces Cheese (provolone) Mozzarella or cheddar can be used.
  • 2 cups Vegetables (bell peppers, red onion) Cucumbers or olives are alternatives.
For the Dressing
  • 1 cup Mayonnaise Greek yogurt can lighten things up.
  • 2 tablespoons Red Wine Vinegar Apple cider vinegar or lemon juice can work.
  • 1 teaspoon Spices (Italian seasoning, garlic powder) Switch up with your favorite herbs.

Method
 

Cooking Instructions
  1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add pasta and cook until al dente, about 8-10 minutes. Drain and rinse under cold water.
  2. In a medium bowl, combine mayonnaise, red wine vinegar, Italian seasoning, and garlic powder. Whisk until smooth and creamy.
  3. In a large bowl, combine cooled pasta, deli meats, cheese, and chopped vegetables. Mix well to combine.
  4. Pour dressing over the pasta mixture and toss gently to coat evenly.
  5. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes before serving. Toss before serving, garnishing with fresh herbs if desired.
