  5. Fold in the dark chocolate chips evenly into the cookie dough.
  6. Scoop tablespoon-sized balls of dough onto baking sheets, spacing 2 inches apart.
  7. Chill the dough in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour to enhance flavors and maintain shape.
  8. Bake in the preheated oven for about 12 minutes until edges are set but centers are soft.
