Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Roll out the refrigerated pizza dough on a lightly floured surface to about 1/4 inch thick and cut into 2x2 inch squares.
  3. Place a generous amount of shredded mozzarella and your choice of mini pepperoni or veggie fillings in the center of each dough square.
  4. Fold the corners of each square towards the center and pinch tightly to seal the fillings inside.
  5. Arrange the sealed pizza bites on the baking sheet, making sure they are not overcrowded.
  6. Whisk the egg and brush it over each pizza bite for an egg wash to achieve a golden crust.
  7. Bake the Christmas Pizza Bites for 15–18 minutes until puffed and golden.
  8. Brush with melted butter and sprinkle with garlic powder, Italian seasoning, and grated Parmesan cheese while warm.
  9. Serve warm with marinara sauce or pesto for dipping.
