- In a food processor, combine the whole milk ricotta cheese, olive oil, a pinch of salt, and garlic powder (if using). Blend for 1–2 minutes until the mixture becomes creamy and smooth, resembling a light mousse.
- In a small saucepan, gently warm the honey over low heat. Stir in your choice of hot sauce and chili flakes, allowing the mixture to infuse for 2-3 minutes.
- Transfer the whipped ricotta to a shallow serving dish. Spread evenly and create soft swirls on the surface using the back of a spoon.
- Carefully pour the warm hot honey over the surface of the whipped ricotta. Sprinkle cracked pepper and garnish with fresh herbs if desired.
- Serve immediately with crostini, pita chips, or sliced baguette along with sweet peppers or cucumber slices.
