Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. In a food processor, combine the whole milk ricotta cheese, olive oil, a pinch of salt, and garlic powder (if using). Blend for 1–2 minutes until the mixture becomes creamy and smooth, resembling a light mousse.
  2. In a small saucepan, gently warm the honey over low heat. Stir in your choice of hot sauce and chili flakes, allowing the mixture to infuse for 2-3 minutes.
  3. Transfer the whipped ricotta to a shallow serving dish. Spread evenly and create soft swirls on the surface using the back of a spoon.
  4. Carefully pour the warm hot honey over the surface of the whipped ricotta. Sprinkle cracked pepper and garnish with fresh herbs if desired.
  5. Serve immediately with crostini, pita chips, or sliced baguette along with sweet peppers or cucumber slices.
