Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).

  3. Add the cooked onion and celery mixture to a large mixing bowl with dry bread cubes, fresh parsley, and any optional herbs. Toss mixture until well-coated.
  4. Gradually pour 1 cup of chicken or turkey broth over the mixture, gently tossing to moisten without soaking. Season with salt and pepper.
  5. Transfer mixture to a buttered baking dish, spreading it evenly. Dot the top with small pieces of butter.
  6. Cover with foil and bake for 35 minutes. Remove foil and bake for an additional 10 minutes until golden brown and fluffy.
