  • 1 cup Mandarin Oranges drained and dried
  • 2 tbsp Brown Sugar adjust to taste
  • 1/2 cup Chopped Pecans can substitute with walnuts or almonds, or omit
Bread
  • 16 slices Cinnamon Swirl Bread or plain white/whole wheat as substitutes

Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a medium bowl, add softened cream cheese, drained mandarin orange segments, brown sugar, and chopped pecans. Gently mix to achieve a creamy consistency, breaking down oranges slightly.
  2. Lay out slices of cinnamon swirl bread. Spread orange cream filling over half the slices, covering the surface. Top with plain pieces to create sandwiches.
  3. Trim crusts off sandwiches if desired. Cut into triangular or rectangular shapes for presentation.
  4. Arrange sandwiches on a decorative platter and garnish with mandarin segments or powdered sugar. Serve immediately or refrigerate until ready.
