  • 2 packages Imitation Crab 12 oz each, can substitute with real crab
  • 8 oz Cream Cheese Softened; reduced-fat can be used
  • 2 large stalks Celery Finely diced; bell pepper can be used as alternative
  • 1/2 lemon Lemon Zest Add 1 Tbsp of fresh lemon juice for extra acidity
  • 1/2 tsp Seasoned Salt Regular salt can be used if unavailable
  • 2 tsp Dill Fresh or 1 tsp dried; parsley can be substituted
  • 2 Green Onions Finely chopped
  • 2-3 Tbsp Mayonnaise Greek yogurt can be used as a substitute

Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Slice the baguette into 6-inch lengths and hollow out the interiors.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the imitation crab, softened cream cheese, diced celery, lemon zest, lemon juice, seasoned salt, dill, and finely chopped green onions. Mix thoroughly.
  3. Gradually add mayonnaise into the crab mixture, stirring until it reaches your desired consistency.
  4. Stuff each hollowed baguette piece with the crab mixture, pressing gently to fill.
  5. Wrap each stuffed baguette piece in plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 2 hours.
  6. Once chilled, unwrap and slice into approximately ½-inch thick slices for serving.
