- In a medium saucepan, combine fresh cherries, balsamic vinegar, honey, and minced garlic. Cook over medium heat for 8–10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the sauce thickens.
- While the glaze simmers, season chicken breasts with salt and pepper on both sides.
- Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add oil, then place seasoned chicken breasts in the skillet. Sear for about 6–7 minutes on each side until golden brown and cooked through.
- During the last 2–3 minutes of cooking, brush the prepared glaze over the chicken breasts.
